Delicious Peace coffee is produced in Uganda by 250 coffee farmers of Jewish, Christian and Muslim faiths who work together in their newly reformed cooperative after the last one they belonged to was corrupted by their founder who took all the coops property and a portion of their financial resources. In 2016, after a decade of belonging to the original cooperative, Mirembe Kawomera, they parted ways from the original and perhaps the only Interfaith Cooperative in the world that was fully composed of Jews, Christians and Muslims. Ingredients Matter. Fresh, local and organic ingredients are featured throughout our menu – we invite you to taste the difference. Our chicken, beef, and pork are from excellent sources, raised on chemical-free pastures without hormones or antibiotics. We choose local produce at every opportunity and when the season is right.


Our Story

This has been a labor-of-love as we have worked to remodel the space after 63 years of continuous restaurant operations in Point Reyes Station. Sheryl Cahill, the owner of Station House Cafe  decided to remodel the space and open Side Street Kitchen. You will find the same original charm inside – in fact, we have saved the 1950’s counter and stools – but the structure is all new, fresh and definitely built to last. Our newly remodeled space features a lovely outdoor patio and mural by local artist Isis Hockenos. Come join us for lunch or dinner any day of the week!
